A piece originally done for the Pan's Labyrinth contest, until I looked at the rules and realized that it was an enormous gyp.

This drawing takes place at the point when the King of the Underworld realizes that his daughter has run off.

Brown ink w/ calligraphy pen.

I drew a traditional picture like this in pen, but I can't get it to look good. :( how did you edit it?

What'd you mean?

Awesome job. I love the lines, especially those of the tree and the king (prince?). Beautiful work.

I was told that the contest winners would get their work featured on the Pan's Labrynth dvd, but when I read the fine print it was more like, it gets featured in some corner of the website and you get a t-shirt. Also, they claim all of the rights to your work once you post them on the site to enter the contest.

What really cheesed me was that it was meant to be about 10 drawings that talk about Pan's Labrynth, but people were just posting fantasy art that they had done in the past.
